So I've been trying a few new things in my life, and I'm going to try something new in regards to this site.

I found that, over Christmas vacation, I got a lot more done than I expected, and felt extremely motivated to work on this little pet project of mine. That was certainly hugely due to all that lovely rest and relaxation that's intrinsic to vacations, but I think it also had to do with the fact I didn't give myself any deadlines. So all the updates and improvements I made to the site were purely motivated by my desire to create, instead of my desire to meet arbitrary deadlines.

So. As the little "Updated" area indicates, I'm going to try out not giving myself deadlines, stop setting aside particular evenings when I need to sit down and make a comic, and see what happens.

I will see if the joy I derive from creating this thing can survive on its own, unsupported by obligation.
